m14 just how big is your safe man? Every thread about a gun and you pull not 1 not 2 but 3 or more out of the safe for pictures. Do you live in the NRA museum?

I'd certainly like to add a S&W model 41 to my collection.
It may not be "The Best," but it's definitely on the premium end of the spectrum.

Well, not EVERY thread...But I have a few safes, and more than a few .22's. And I'm thinking it may be time to sell off some guns.

My vote would be for the Ruger Mk III. They could knock the fuzz off a mosquitos a$$.

If you want to spend a few bucks, try a Walthers GSP, or find one of the Benelli 95 series. Both are olympic quality guns but pricey!

Find an old High Standard....nothing quite like those Connecticut guns

High Standard is the ONLY American Pistol MFR to EVER win Olympic Gold.

Ruger's never even won a medal in the Olympics. That should tell ya something right there.

I like the Ruger and Browning22's I think the Browning has a little better trigger out of the box.
The favorite 22 of my collection is a Ruger 22/45 that I put a Tactical Solutions 8.6 reciever/barrel on with a little Leupold scope on. I di a little work to the trigger too.
This made it a little pricey for a 22 pistol I guess but damn what a blast to shoot.

Look around at the pistols people have listed. See what fits best for you. All of the ones people have talked to you about are fine weapons. I see the Ruger and Browning more flexible being you can change things pretty easily. But I would be really happy with a High Standard too. I'm not much a fan of the Smiths 22A though. They use that funky screwed in barrel that from what I've seen can work itself loose and you need a barrel wrench to tighten it back. I think the 41 is that way too but I've not shot one of those so I really can't say anything about the 41.They seem pretty acurate pistols all the same though.

It seems you have a real hatred of Ruger products since you NEVER miss a chance to TRY to put Ruger down. I seriously doubt you have tried Ruger products out in all areas that you are badmouthing them in. Try actually using Rugers in those areas before you badmouth them.
