Bersa thunder ultra compact
Just wondering if anyone has shot the Bersa thunder ultra compact 9 mil. I know nothing about the bersa guns. this one is a nice looking gun and priced good. I also like that it has a single action trigger and a 13+1 mag capacity. I know smaller guns aren't as accurate but this would be strictly a carry gun. does Bersa make good quality guns? Thanks

yes they do. i think the bersas are the most under rated pistols out there.

Very impressive video! Thanks |
Bersa makes the highest quality inexpensive handguns in the world, IMO. Only con i can think of is the slight finish could be a little more even, Functionally they are amazing though.

About the only real negative I know about Bersa's is that mags tend to be a tad expensive...

I have had a Thunder 9 for some years now and it has been totally reliable. If they would only get the cost of magazines down!
A UC would be in the cards if it did not have the lock and the rail. |
Just wondering what you mean by lock and rail. Is this something that's a problem with the uc.? Also how does the ultra compact compare in size with say the lc9 or other 9 mil that size? I haven't found one yet to take a look at. Thanks
|
The UC has a trigger lock and an accessory rail on the dust cover. Not wanting those items is a personal preference and not a reflection on the pistol.
I have not shot an LC9 so cannot make a comparison. My choice of pistols runs to cZ and Browning HPs and I find the Thunder 9 grip is a bit larger. As far as shooting the Thunder 9 goes, mine has the best trigger that I have found out of the box. Other shooters have made the same comment. Thanks so much for the help, its very helpful!

I have a Bersa 380, and Bersa 9mm and have just ordered a Bersa 45 and if if the .45 shoots just half as good as the 380 or the 9mm I would be very happy they are really good for the money and concealable.
