Default Being tacticool

I'm a stodgy old fart but sometimes I feel the need to be a tacticool fella. I hung a Streamlight TLR-2 on my XD .45 Compact and it's now my living room gun. I may be getting ill as I was seriously considering a railed 1911 while browsing my LGS on Sunday...

The pic didn't load for me but I know what it looks like. I personally am not a fan of rail mounted goodies on a pistol but that is just me. Nothing wrong with what you've got there. Now if you're wearing a crossdraw vest with 7 mags loaded with NINJA ammo I'd start to worry.

This. Especially on a home-defense gun, which might be used when things go bump in the night, having both a light and a firm grip is a sound idea.

I love tacticool stuff, just as long as you have a purpose for it. A tac light on a HD gun, definitely a great idea. Now if you go out and buy a LBV and start stuffing socks in the pouches then you're creeping up on Mall Ninja....lol just kiddin'

Great looking gun

What you have there is a good looking, practical accessory to your firearm. Nothing wrog with that at all.

I'm looking at this 4" operator myself for CCW. I believe it retails for under $900.00. Also available in a 5"
