depends on what i'm shooting on a given weekend. if i'm shooting the 22's, i might shoot anywhere from 100-300 rounds. if shooting centerfire pistols, 100-150 rounds. centerfire rifles, 40-80 rounds.

My daily totals over the last 12 years have ranged from 154 to 325. I go five days a week for nine months out of the year. Yearly numbers range from about 20,000 to just under 40,000.

If I'm just there to have fun or reliability testing, 50-100 rounds per pistol & usually 2-3 pistols with me. If I am practicing to improve or maintain accuracy, less than 50 rounds. I find that I start loosing my concentration & it's not helping me.

WOW! That is a massive amount. You have to be spending over $5000 per year EASILY just in ammo. Are you LEO or Military? What calibers do you typically shoot.

Yes I hear ya. IL sucks for outdoor ranges. And all the indoor ranges are dark n dirty unless u want to spend 25 dollars an hour. Hate it. I been trying to find somewhere to go to that is nice for the price. But can't beat 9 dollars all day at rinks.
