Default arcus dac98 fte issues

Hi new member here, I just bought an arcus dac98 9mm, first 50 shots were no issue smooth and I thought " man this is a nice gun" then she started to fte on every magazine after! the next 200 rounds were misery! Spent case stuck in barrel every time! Any body have any answer? Shot different ammo in first 50 Thought it was ammo...but found some of the first batch of ammo and same results! All FMJ. Also some mags fired good after hi-up but then began fte. Never had a gun do this to this degree. Thanks

AN UP DATE ON ARCUS DAC98 FTE ISSUES. Sent gun into Century Arms for the issues. Got gun back in 3 weeks so no problem there. Got a report on what was done to gun. Haven't fired yet but I hope everything is A OK. The report said the extractor was " improved" I assume it was tweeked. Century was courteous and helpful.

I hope the experience (with Century) turns out better for you than it has for me or some of my friends.

Amen I hope it fires fine. I only want this arcus dac98 for range/plinking. But if she becomes very reliable then I will trust it more. I wouldn't trust ANY gun that had fte/ftf issues.

Up date. Took arcus dac98 to range and fired 150 thru her. All FMJ 115, 124's no problems! Hurray. This gun is solid heavy and almost feels like there is no recoil, 1911 is a bucking bronko compared to this. I read Century Arms range report and they said " improved extrator" well they did and they were very helpful and did repair in 3 weeks. I like shooting guns and not just ADMIRING THEM. So I look for good reliable guns to fire! Have Ruger LCP, RIA 1911, S&W 357, Mossberg 500 cruiser, Colt air wieght 38 snub, sold a Kimber when offered a great price; but never fired more than 10 rounds thru it.

NOw deep in Feburary and have fired this Arcus Dac98 with about 500 rounds and qualified for conceal carry with it. Since Century worked my extracter this baby fires and fires. Fall on the ground/in mud no problem this is a weapon not a mantle piece!

Glad this worked out for you. I have the full size 98 DA. I'm looking to get the DAC as a same system carry, New York back up. I have fired about 300 rounds with out any ftf or fte. Now the problem I did have was failure to battery after ejection. Ammo was the issue. It was stored in the basement, 20 year old AE 115. Some of the jackets had a green patina from moisture. I cleaned the weapon, used a liberal amount of lube, clean ammo, lol. Problem solved. This gun is also a tack driver.
