I've got the kit to convert a 1911 to 460 but I'm still working on the 1911......different topic.....
If you are looking for a good anti bear round in a handgun I would seriously look at a 44 mag. I don't think you can go wrong with a Redhawk, blackhawk or a S&W 29/629.....If it were me, I would lean towards the Rugers for beating thru the wood and keep the Smiths for the range. That's what I do now anyway.
