Default Anybody got a derringer?

I was thinking about getting an American Derringer or a Bond Arms. I wanted one of the 45 colt/410 ones. Anybody got one? What do you think of it? I just like things that are different. Don't plan on using it for defense.

Had one come through the shop. Individual seemed really pleased with it. I think that "Combat Handguns" magazine just had a write up about one.

My dad had several derringers when we were growing up. I remember them being a real pain in the hand to shoot. They are neat, but they wear off on me after about 5 minutes. I've never really wanted one myself.

Some folks really get into owning a bunch of them are are happy with them. It's what you like and want that matters most.

"Cowboys" on the Outdoor channel had a program on pocket pistols and derringers last night. It was somewhat informative.

About the only one I would consider is a Bond Arms .45LC/410ga.
