Default any one have a clue?

an older friend has this and he doesnt know much about it, anyone have any idea? on top of the reciever it looks to have written J steven s&co.ch copes ea lsmass fat s____ 1864 THANKS!

Kaliber: 22 short + 30 short
Lauflänge: 3,5 Zoll
Standard-Finish: vernickelter Stahlrahmen mit brüniertem Lauf
und Walnuss-Griffen
Sondermodelle auch komplett vernickelt oder brüniert
Produktion 1864 - 1916: ca. 80.000 Stück

Caliber: 22 short and 30 short

I just searched Stevens Derringer and found a site out of Germany. I hope I did not kill the thread.

Don't know if there collectable or not.

Do know that the were popluar with fur trappers and used to dispach game that was still kicking when the trapper got back to check his set.
