You never forget your first 45. The trigger can be worked on until nothing else will even come close. My full size is about 4-5 and my officers is 2.5 - yeah, I told the gunsmith to give me an edge and he did his work too well.
Thanks for the welcome. I shot .357 today and loved it BUT I also had a chance to fire a 1911 .45ACP......holy cow that bad boy felt S W E E T......
What's this "yellow" card you speak of. Keep in mind I'm as new to this as a baby learning to walk. Thanks again.
Hi Scott. Sorry I didn't get back to you earlier, but I just spent the better part of two weeks in the hospital.
The Yellow card is approval to use state ranges. The store where you got the blue card should be able to help you out with it. Just another multiple choice test.
Just one gun? It would be a 22 LR Revolver like the Smith & Wesson Model 17 or Model 617. You can shoot all day for $20, the noise is minimal, the gun is sweet, and you'll always be able to find rounds. Yeah, not huge for home protection, but even a 22 LR accurately fired will run off most bad guys you are likely to run across.
