If you're thinking sig I say 226. However, if price is also a concern, I'd second the motion to look at the 2022 in 9mm. I have one and absolutely love it. I bought it in 05 and have put thousands of rounds (probably around 6,000) and have not had one single issue with it. It's also a tack driver. I can hit stationary clays at 35 yards, consistently. It's the most accurate pistol I've shot, but I will admit that I'm not super experienced in pistols.
