I wouldn't call that a "smokin' deal" but it's not bad at all if you buy in enough bulk to justify the S&H.

Bothhands,

Sounds like a decent deal! Blazer is not bad ammo for practice and target shooting. What ever you do from my experience, don't buy Fiocchi! I think they load them with 90% coal dust! I built my 16 Y.O. grandson a Rock River 9mm Carbine and purchased a whole case of Fiocchi. Never again! American Eagle, White Box Winchester FMJs is also some good ammo.

Remmington white/green is great quality ammo. Nary an issue with it.

Not so hot for the 115 gr Blazer Brass. A LGS has Blazer Brass 115 for $10 all the time. Try Aguilia 124 gr if you like a heavier bullet and it really goes on sale. Sometimes for under $9.

That's really interesting. My experience with Fiocchi has been very good. I much prefer it to White Box or UMC. Either I got a very good lot, or you got a bad lot.

Fiocchi might burn dirty but it's usually the hottest factory load. A 357 Fiocchi SJSP has a velocity of over 1500 FPS. Lots of premium ammo doesn't hit as hard as Fiocchi target ammo.

This is not 'Blazer' with the aluminum case. This is the brass (re loadable) case, it is no different than any other major brand with the brass case.

I know, it's the Blazer brass that is no good in one of my guns. My derringer fits any standard 9mm round, but Blazer has a broader casing, and doesn't fit in the chambers of it.

My other guns have shot it fine, but they're semi-autos and their barrels are larger in diameter, nearest the feed ramp, because of the action.

Just an observation and due to it I wont shoot it.

Its also a dirtier ammo in the 22lr. A bulk box of it is filthy with wax and causes jam galore because of gunk build up. I'm fine with CCI overall, but Blazer is pure poop in my experience.
