9mm Ammo
i receive weekend sales from widener's, so here is a current one.
i know a few have been looking for bulk buys on 9mm. i don't shoot it, so i don't know if it's a good price or not. CCI5200 CCI 9mm 115GR FMJ BLAZER BRASS AMMO $10.45/50 http://www.wideners.com/itemdetail.cfm?item_id=9014&dir= CCI5201 CCI 9mm 124GR FMJ BLAZER BRASS AMMO $13.00 / 50 or $252 / 1000 http://www.wideners.com/itemdetail.cfm?item_id=9015&dir= there is also American Eagle on sale. |
I wouldn't call that a "smokin' deal" but it's not bad at all if you buy in enough bulk to justify the S&H.

Blazer is too wide, I wont shoot it, but that is a grrat price.

Bothhands,
Sounds like a decent deal! Blazer is not bad ammo for practice and target shooting. What ever you do from my experience, don't buy Fiocchi! I think they load them with 90% coal dust! I built my 16 Y.O. grandson a Rock River 9mm Carbine and purchased a whole case of Fiocchi. Never again! American Eagle, White Box Winchester FMJs is also some good ammo. 03 |
Remmington white/green is great quality ammo. Nary an issue with it.

Not so hot for the 115 gr Blazer Brass. A LGS has Blazer Brass 115 for $10 all the time. Try Aguilia 124 gr if you like a heavier bullet and it really goes on sale. Sometimes for under $9.

My other guns have shot it fine, but they're semi-autos and their barrels are larger in diameter, nearest the feed ramp, because of the action. Just an observation and due to it I wont shoot it. Its also a dirtier ammo in the 22lr. A bulk box of it is filthy with wax and causes jam galore because of gunk build up. I'm fine with CCI overall, but Blazer is pure poop in my experience. |
