50 round Glock mag
 

I ordered a 50 round drum mag for Glocks from Buds for $99. I know it is not practical, but it will be fun. Plus, I plan to keep it loaded for emergency use.

I will let you know how it works.

BTW, Cheaper than dirt wants $179 for the same mag. Made in Korea

You know you'll need a compensator to compensate the weight of that mag--
I figure one about 6 ft long shud do :p

My only objection to extended handgun magazines is that they completely change the balance and 'feel' of the weapon.

And that is not a good thing.

Practical? No. Fun as he11, yes. Good luck and I suggest a compensator setup.

I have one for my G17. No comp needed. And yes, fun! Plus it works with my Sub 2000 which is sweet!

I would not use if for emergency unless I was 99.9% sure it would work when needed.

I agree. I would not use something for defense unless it was an item I trained with regularly and had confidence in its function, aside from an absolute emergency of course.
However, 50 rd. mags for my Glocks sounds like a great idea if for no other reason than THEY don't want me to have them.
