Default 1911 resolve

I've been wanting to join the 1911 club. But watching dirty harry really does a number on a man's resolve.
Just thought I'd throw that out there. I find myself wanting a model 29...

I know. I really should, but damn that 29 is classy, and I've always had a fondness for wheel guns.

Oh the pain!

I watched Dirty Harry for the first time a week or two ago, and now I really want a Smith and Wesson Model 29 too. I read somewhere that he used a Smith and Wesson Model 25 when he had to actually shoot it, because blanks were not available, but I'm not one hundred percent that's true.

I think c3 has all the knowledge on the dirty harry guns, but it may be someone else. There were some pieced together guns in the movies, but I'm not sure of all the details.

There is an illness that comes with owning a 1911a1.

For those fortunate to avoid it, consider yourself lucky.

The rest of us have to mire in our misery.

Please don't let us suffer alone.

Y'all seem to forget, some of us have been bitten by revolveritis a long time ago. Who knows, with the way the car and truck are doing, I'll be lucky to get any damn thing.

Hey Trip,

I feel you pain, brother! My only advice is to get them both. Lol. I have a weakness for single action revolvers and 1911 pistols. I own WAY TOO MANY of both! Save your pennies and keep buying. They don't eat or crap in the house, so they are pretty easy to keep.
