i am on the hunt for a stainless 1911.
i dont care what brand really, and it must be shiny lol...
is it even possible to get one under $1000?

Yes you can, but remember that the jump from .380, .22, or 9mm to .45ACP, if that's what you're looking for, is a big one. Good luck with your search.

Here's one, but it might not be shiny enough for you...also comes in 9mm, which might be more what you're used to.

Take a look at a Springfield Mil Spec in stainless. You may be able to find a stainless Colt for your price as well.

What is wrong with the Rock Island? You can anodize the Hammer, Trigger, grip safety and Safety Then Change the grips to these Sweet Gold ones.
