Taurus customer service is based in Fla. so you should have no problem. I have the same rifle as Pioneer, a Marlin 917V. I topped mine w/ an old 6-24x40mmAO target scope. Nice little rifle.

Default Taurus Tracker

Got a T. Tracker in .17 HMR and have not seem any split case issues.. Taurus customer service should be able to help you out ..
