Hello from Bozeman. Way too many hippies, yuppies, Prius driving socialists, ex Californians and multi millionaries here, but for now the employment holds me here. Will move back to a smaller town just as soon as I can.

You could be talking about Kalispell, Whitefish..... its the same all over the state. I grew up on a dairy farm in Corvallis and Ravalli Co. is the same exact way.

Just damn sad......

Default Hello from he Bitterroot...................

Joined this site over 2 years ago but have only posted 7 times...........some unexpected " bumps in the road" side-tracked me for a while.....7th post was earlier today. Didnt' know this Montana Sub-Forum was her.....glad I found it.

Worked in the steel fabrication business for 40 years....traveling all over the Rky Mnt west, Canada and Alaska selling heavy fabrication projects. Found the Bitterroot in 1975---moved here in early 1980 from Colorado....built my own house on Fred Burr Creek in 1980----retired in Dec '93----widowed in 2005 after 51 years of marriage....have hunted since the age of 10 (1942);...and have handloaded since 1964. Taken my share of deer, elk, black bear, caribou, moose, wolf and my greatest achievement-----a Kodiak Brown Bear (at age 60) after a 4 hour stalk in November, (in a snow storm/up a mountain side from sea level to 1400 feet elevation.)

Will be 82 in April & have slowed down quite a bit-----the ole body ain't what it used to be!
My 7th post was earlier today asking about info re handloading for a Sig 45ACP.

Again, glad I found this Montana Sub Forum. These last 35 years living in Montana have been the greatest.........only wish I had been born here.
