everyone use this link to watch the rain. hopefully there will be pockets of ok weather. we can watch the speed of the storm and decide to get soaked or wait it out based on radar.

Hey, I'm here. It was a loooong drive but I made it.

Balota and I are on our way to the range.

It's not going to rain.

I can't even begin to say what a great day it was today. Wonderful, wonderful people, lots of shotguns, flying clay pigeons. I got to meet several FTFers and enjoyed getting to know them. I saw some great shooting today and I learned a LOT. I think what I have to do before I can improve is to get a shot gun that fits me. I did okay, as a very new beginner, with a .410 but I gotm impatient and asked for a 20 gauge thinking I would have a better chance at busting the clays. I need to learn to be patient with myself and to not expect too much too soon.

There will be another Shoot and Hoot in April. If there is any way any of you can join us, please do. Bobski and his wife are wonderful hosts filled with knowledge and great conversation. The comraderie was incredible. And I laughed and smiled so much today, my cheek muscles hurt.
