Camping ain't camping with out a campfire and only if it is cool with Bobski. I wont be spending the night but if you guys need some fire wood I would be more than delighted to throw some in and bring it with me. Since it isn't to far from home if you need anything I will see what I can do to help. Just let me know....

i have a portable girl scout ground unit. feel free to use it for fires....if there isnt a fire ban in effect. the fire ranger lookout tower is within view, so we need to be proper.

There shouldn't be no fire ban. It rained up there most of the morning and has cooled down. Supposed to rain again Thursday.

hey astroman...how you comin'? are you cutting across kentucky and crossing the river near new madrid to poplar bluff or going thru memphis cross, and come up 55 to 63? reason i ask is youd be driving past the range to get to the motel and doubling back to get to the range in the morning.
might be better to bed down in west plains. west plains is 40 minutes to my place. lmk if i can help....or uh i mean...hep.'

bobski - since I am almost in KY, I plan to cut thru Paducah, cross the Mississippi on rte 62 west to rte60 thru Poplar Bluff -
where 63 crosses 60 in Willow Springs, it looks like I am slightly closer to Mt Grove...or about the same...where is the Steak Restaurant we plan to go to? if its in West Plains, I think I will adjust accordingly - thanks

nope youre good. thats the good route. steak house is in mt grove. youre ok.
when you exit mt grove/rt 95 south, your motel will be on the left across the overpass. walmart will be to the right of your exit....across from there cemetery...where we bury all the bad shooters after the matches. lol.

Hmmmm???? Can't help but wonder how they end up there??? Embarrassment, harassment or maybe that is why Bob can lay claim to being such a good teacher..He leaves none of the unteachables to dispute him...
