Cane is doing fine. He's an incredible person, I have discovered. I'm having a good time here with him, his wife and his daughter. He's working at Nexus, which is a state-of-the art shooting range, and hasn't been on the forum very much lately.

I guess when all the slots filled people thought that was it.

I'm planning to bring along a box full of those orange industrial roll up ear plugs. They're 32 dB NRR. Is that adequate? I know the earmuff style is out cuz it gets in the way of putting your cheek on the gun.

I thought you weren't supposed to put a cheek on a shotgun.

Never heard of that method (not saying there isn't a method like that, I've just never seen/heard of it). I like to have a solid cheek weld whenever I'm shooting a rifle or a shotgun.

This guy is shooting skeet, and he has his cheek on the gun.

cheek should be on the gun. if winds wants to shoot under the arm because of recoil, shes more than willing to.

roll ups are fine for the ears.

we need to get guys looking at the 19th oct offer. send them to the 3rd shoot thread! duddie10 bailed out, were back to zero.

Question!
I've been watching videos, and the shooters always call for a bird while their gun is aimed at the projected flight path.

When backyard shooting, I've always been told it was proper etiquette to call for a bird while holding your gun at the low ready.

So what gives?
