Does this look like a crack, or just some really deep grain?

Looks like a crack to me, but I'm no woodworker.

I though it was. Just wanted a second opinion.

Well, I guess I'll pass on that one (it's also missing the mag).

Well, you had a list of 18 ways to get thrown off the range. Or you could go with just the two really important ones: Have fun, be safe.

I thought'd I'd done this yesterday.

Range rules, what NOT to do:

1. Ignore the rangemaster.
2. Point a gun towards someone.
3. Walk past the edge of any house without a reason.
4. Look in the low house window.
5. Load more than one shell on the ata trap field without permission.
6. Load more than 2 shells on the skeet field.
7. Swing around and shoot behind yourself on station 8.
8. Walk off a shooting station with a loaded gun.
9. Walk off a shooting station with your breech closed.
10. Lean on your muzzle.
11. Take more than one shot at one target, (except on a sporting clays range.)
12. Throw extra targets without permission.
13. Drink alcohol. Do drugs.
14. Shoot a shell with shot larger than #6.
15. Smoke, litter, chew, or use a cell phone while shooting.
16. Knock someones gun over on the rack.
17. Shoot the house.
18. Throw your gun if you miss.

It's 390 for me. A total of 812 if I pick up TWW in Arlington TX...

Buddy, I think we may have to rethink that idea of carpooling... I've already got an 18 hour/1,200 mile trip to Wyoming and back, plus 2 separate 500 mile trips, to Chattanooga and back.
