I don't think so. It was only 3 years ago I ever shot a gun at all. I am just a big talker.........particularly over the internet. In real life I'm as timid as a rabbit.

have you guys been pm'ing each other as to who's bringing what to eat?

I guarantee you I can cook much better than I can shoot (thank God). So, if anyone laughs at me on the range, be careful of what I serve you.

it would do fine as long as its a full choke. odds are your bolt action can carry two. you normally push one down in a mauser style action.
the 'term on report' means...as soon as i hear your 1st shot go off, i give you the 2nd bird. so even though its singles, its 2 singles in fast sucession. thats how we will play doc adams and poor man 5 stand.

as far as food, some people will be at the club early and can have breakfast before game 1 at 10am. as others come and go, basically its gonna be help yourself in the kitchen. i just dont want anyone to go hungry, because we'll all be there until at least 8pm shooting the last squad. im sure youll all be nibbling by then regardless of a steak waiting in town. and too, if anyone wants to camp out overnight, food in the morning would be nice.
just looking after my gang. i dont anyone getting bored hanging out. and food helps pass the time.

I will happily keep food in the kitchen when I'm not shooting or cheering the others on. As for snacky things, there's always cheese and crackers, chips and dips. I can keep a crock pot full of meatballs or Italian beef, or a hearty chicken soup, etc going in the kitchen, too. That way people can eat as time permits.

Most of the bolt actions I've seen can carry at least 2. Most carry 3. A lot of them have those big, adjustable chokes like this, so it will go to full, mod, and IC.

Most can be found for around $100 since they were so popular back in the day. but have lost popularity to pumps.

I'm pretty fast with a bolt, so I don't think the follow up shots will be a problem.

But we're working on bringing you out of your shell, err... fur, err... (note to self, when in a hole, stop digging... no, really, stop digging...)
