the winning shot was made at 70yds last match.
you guys will be shooting 50yds most of the match.
and youll hit them...if you listen to me.
but mod aint gonna cut it.
turkey full is perfect for some of these shots at the match.
im giving you guys homework....you should be hearing my advice.
and my advice is....clay shooting isnt about the gun, its about the choke.
the game starts at the choke. pick the right choke, you will do well.
pick the wrong one.....i'll be picking up a lot of unbroken birds 5 oct....and my back doesnt like that.

Are these 50-75 yard shots doubles, or singles?

I think I'd have problems at that distance even with the proper chokes. My eyes aren't the best, so I have trouble seeing small targets at those distances.

singles................
heres a pic of a fellow (75 years old) about to shoot a trap (that bunker way out there)....on the 26yd line.
now you can see why full's gotta be used.

btw, as you can see winds', i have all kinds come out to my range. it doesnt matter how good or bad you are...relaxation and shooting is what its all about. we tell stories better than we shoot for the most part!

and...this was taken in october, so this is what it will look like for the meet! fall foliage!

I doubt I can hit a clay from that distance. But I guarantee you I can tell a bunch of good stories. And I wouldn't mind cooking for the lot of you, either.

I have no idea what anyone would like to eat. If we only have an hour for me to cook and us to eat, it would have to be something I can cook quickly. We are going out for steak dinner Saturday night, right?

Well winds, to be perfectly honest, I don't have a lot of experience with a shotgun, just rifles.

My shotgun stayed locked up for the most part, and I have never shot a round of skeet before.

So unless I get really good over the summer, you could very well beat me.

Bobski, I have a question. Since those long shots are singles, how would bolt action shotgun with an adjustable choke do?
