as cool as the meet was....there were some safety issues id like to point out. the best training took place when we were doing air ball stance training on the porch, and r. scott came out of the bunker as we all called pull and were pointing our fingers at the bunker! perfect timing!
we had a 20ga shell be loaded into a 12ga gun during a gun fam drill.
we had a cased, loaded gun leave the car and almost enter the club (5 rounds ejected outside,) we had a closed breech to one gun laying on top of a club table, not racked. (i caught it,) and we had a few people pick up dropped rounds with loaded guns. remember, just kick it to the side and load another one, and pick it up later. we dont bend over with a loaded gun.
and i cut my finger open on my bolt when i hit the release button during loading 2 rounds. it happens. keep these in mind and remember them for the next meet. safety is everyones responsiblity.
any others anyone cares to share?
