wonder if anyone would consider a giveaway as a 1st place prize to the winner?

i will give a cheap door prize for the one who drove the farthest and i will shoot against the 1st place contestant on the last place shooters behalf.
if i win, last place shooter wins the meet.

but if someone gets caught missing on purpose to make the playoff, theyll be disqualified.

Oh, I'm so excited. I have the possibility of winning? Am I reading this right?

this meet is about fun, not ego's.
matches where people come to win, only care about themselves. this one is about having fun and the prizes are coincidental.
lets find someone here who can donate a loading press or a shell bag for 1st place?! can we check the vendors?

for those not familiar with sanctioned matches in shotgunning, allow me to explain what a deal this ftf meet is for you.
first, to be in a sanctioned match usually requires you to be a club member and a member of the NSSA. a typical club charges anywhere from 125.00 to 500.00 a year membership. NSSA i think is around 50.00.
to sign up for a match, you first must shoot at least 100 targets to get rated or classified. thats at least 20 to 25.00.
when you shoot registered birds, you must not only pay for the game, but also a fee per game to register the score.
so a typical meet looks like this:
entry fee.............
target fee............

then you play in your class and play options like:
high overall winner
winner in class
middle 50
age group
and the list goes on....
each time you pony up a 20 spot or so per option. this way, management can buy awards, offer cash purses, and feed large crowds.
typical meet is 100 targets.

by the end of the day, you can expect to fork over anywhere from 150 to 500 to 1000.00 PER MATCH depending how brave you are and how confident you are in your shooting. skeet and trap is BIG MONEY. its almost like horse racing. instead of betting on a horse, you bet on yourself.

so, with that said, im offering you all a taste of the big leagues for just a 50 spot.
that 50 spot pays for your targets, coffee, trophy, and an award.
no registration fees.
no memberships.
no nothing.
free instruction.
you just show up and have a good time with other ftf members.

this is why im shocked at why the list isnt already signed up. its like offering someone a pit pass to a nascar race. those in the know would be fighting for a spot!
so remember, you come with no experience and youll leave experienced on me.
if you come with experience and think youll clean house, i'll defend the new shooters...and youll have to shoot against me. its going to be 100% even and fair across the board. everyone will go home with a new insight to shotgunning....on me.
