Couple times each year. Usually for a few days during the holidays and then a few days in the spring (usually April). Plan is to be that way third week of April this year.

I third the motion. I could do Como. It's just up the road a piece. I have a Remington 700 scoped .270 that I've never fired. Maybe we could break it in.

Glad to hear you're in ellis. Your post about looking out the window and seeing the sage grass as a child touched me. Those long honey blond fields of grass are part of my childhood also. Everytime I see sage grass it throws me back in time.

Yup, worked a mistake of a job up there for a while, though.
Lived in Memphis for about ten years. I liked the area and the people and my side job.

I spent several weeks on the coast after katrina. Interesting people on the coast, most I met were nice. The ones I got to know were really good people. They have more in common with other gulf people than MS. people.

Well I go away for a bit and looky here. Can I join this hootanny?

From Poplarville at the moment. From the coast, Gulfport area.

See lots of towns here that I have a connection to in some way or another.

Hernando, my son and dil live there now.
Southhaven is where dil is from.
Como is where I bought my tractor after Katrina off ebay.
Dixie is where two friends grew up.
Hattiesburg is where my mom lives and I worked there for a short time.
Bay St. Louis is where I work part of the time now....

Ain't it a great state!

Jimmy

Greetings from Olive Branch. Welcome back!

How are things in Waveland? I was there after Katrina helping out for 5 weeks. I would imagine there is still nothing from the beach to the rr tracks.
