Any Ideas?

Just was wondering why Minnesota does not honor Wisconsin CCWL, but Wisconsin honors Minnesota.
Any ideas, or does someone know?

Wisconsin is either more polite or more submissive. :)

WAY late on this post but it is because WI rules are too easy - IE if you have a DD214 you get a permit, no hassle, no class etc. MN requires the class and won't accept any state that does not. WI accepts MN because they accept any state that has tougher requirements than they do.

MN won't even let you have a suppressor. It doesn't surprise me.

I believe MN law allows for 6 suppressors, all for the DNR. Don't ya just love it?

A short boring history:
Mn law of yesterday (early 70's) allowed the loaded handgun to be carried in a vehicle as long as it was in open sight. Then there was a change in law that allowed people to hunt with handguns, but, you could no longer have a loaded handgun wo a permit to carry. Most county sheriffs were good to deal with - so no problem (the permit was at their discretion).
Along came a busy body named Tony Boza. Tony was from New YorK City with its infamous "Sullivan Law" created by the infamous Tamney Ring to disarm their opponents. (Tony had a wife that was forever getting arrested for criminal trespass protesting one thing or another.)
Tony began telling the sheriffs that they would be liable for the permits they issued and so the sheriffs began to not renew carry permits. Gun rights activists began to push for "shall issue" laws.
I love the Constitution... That said, I've also taught MNFAS for 30 years and there just isn't time to teach enough to qualify anyone to carry safely and legally Presently MN DNR certifies even youths who complete the course on line and can find an instructor to run them through a ONE single field day. I also am NRA certified instructor. I am conflicted between what the Second Amendment says and wanting fellow shooters to stay out of trouble and out of the news media so we don' t loose our Second Amendment.
