Springfield XDM 3.8 9mm 19+1 or a PT1911 .45acp. Depends on situation. Am looking to get a backup for weak side carry though - if anybody has any thoughts?

My EDC was Taurus PT 738 TCP 380 and I really liked it but I traded it for the Ruger SR9c and I use the DeSantis IWB Sof-Tuck and I really like it, just not while driving? I can sit with it and I'm fine but sit in the drivers seat and it really bothers me if its been to long. I also want to find a good OWB but to spend $70-$100 and not like it will suck

Markie, you can look for a driving holster to solve this problem. They are specially made for driving and some mount to the seat belt. You have to transition the gun in some cases, but if you're driving that many miles the relief might be well worth it.

When I used to drive 16 hours a day, I wore a Galco Miami Classic shoulder holster and even in blazing hot weather I could cover it with an all-cotton Hawaiian flowery shirt. :-)
