Marlborough Anyone?

Gun show today and tomorrow. Probably a waste of time but I was invited.

Where? In Marlborough Mass? They have gun shows in Mass? If so, I agree, waste of time.

Good luck with that, the last show I went to everything was overpriced and everybody there, except a few vendors were dick's.

The show was Interesting. I saw a governor for $995 and blazer 9mm for $30.80 as well as a few used glocks in the $700 range. I bought some venison jerky and the shirt pictured below, spoke to a few of the vendors I've dealt with and left. As expected, not worth the drive.

A Governor for $995 and used Glocks in the $700 range? Is that in US dollars? I can buy NIB Glocks all day long in the $500 to $600 US range. I wish I could tell you what a Governor would cost here, but unless that one had a laser it's more than $100 over S&W's MSRP. Are ya'll still getting that taxation without representation crap?

All I could do was laugh and shake my head. The governor was around $300 over msrp and only an idiot pays msrp. The people of this state must all be on crack to pay these prices. I literally couldn't find anything to spend money on. I got the shirt for less than the price of admission and only so that I didn't leave empty handed. If I were staying in this state I would never go back anyway.

I very rarely go to a gun show. I know that's sacrilegious, but the prices some people charge are unbelievable. I did find a S&W Mod 10 once that I'm still kicking myself over for not buying, but most of the time it's a wasted trip. That Mod 10 had one of the smoothest trigger pulls I have ever seen, but the finish was really rough.

I went a few years back (pre-sandy) and there were still some deals around. The prices on garands were the only laughable things really. Now it's all a joke. Even decommissioned grenades have gone up in price. You're better off with your lgs and Amazon. My buddy was eying a flashlight. It was $35 on one table and $25 on the next. He can get it from Amazon for $18. Lol
