When my son was 19 he was driveing a car when someone else had pot with them .
He got a ticket for posestion of pot because it was his car it was just a fine will it stop him from getting his ltc.
He is 26 now any info will help .

Was he issued a traffic violation or a criminal violation? If it is criminal it may but I would check with legal counsel familiar with MA laws before taking the word of an internet commando like me

sorry, didn't see the dismissed part. If the charge was dismissed than I think he will be ok. But I wtill would check with legal counsel, a false answer on the application would be trouble your son does not need ... even if it were an honest misunderstanding
