I recently had Firearms Service Center install a compensator and free float quad rail on my Spikes Tactical upper. And they did both of them wrong. And then argued with me about it.

DO NOT LET THESE IDIOTS WORK ON YOUR AR-15. They know nothing about them.

They did not index the compensator properly and they did not use shims behind the barrel nut. The compensator was easily fixed by an actual gunsmith. The barrel nut was likely over-torqued and stretched the threads on the upper.

These good ole boys might be able to work on your hunting rifle, but I wouldn't trust them to install a LPK on a stripped lower.

This is the compensator. You can easily see how it is not lined up properly. What irritated me was I said something about it and the idiots that worked there acted like nothing was wrong.

I don't have pictures of the quad rail. I have the 4 shims that came with it that we're not used. And I gave them the instructions that came with the quad rail that TELLS one how and when to use the shims.

Lol. Definitely not right. That sucks. Have a washer for it?

I already had it fixes by a real gunsmith who is the armorer for the Local PD. He fixed it with minimal trouble.

Those guys are pretty rude too. Not to mention way overpriced and have no selection most of the time.

The only thing I buy there are the pipe cleaners. Really good for cleaning where a q-tip can't reach.

Sounds familiar. I would definitely avoid them.
