I go there all the time and don't know many who shoot pistols through those. I shoot anywhere on Kleber, Rich or Ky river WMAs I want. Never been bothered by the wardens.
The state ranges installed long pipes at each station to shoot through.You stick yourbarrel in the tube and fire.... Safety reasons but it kills handgun shooting.

State ranges? Idk but I'd not stick my pistol into a pipe to shoot it... that's plum ignorance! For one... how does that even help someone with "target practice " and another...a burglar or an animal etc is not going to carry around a big tube saying here I am LOL.

Wish I had a lot of land cause I'd have my own gun range. I don't mind shooting through the tubes but I do a lot better from prone position.
