Went the the new Wichita Cabelas
 

My wife and I checked out the new Cabela's in Wichita today. Place was crowded, probably because of spring break. I noticed that there were almost no sales going on. I think they are trying to get the most money out of the new as they can. I did pick up a few things, but I didn't get any of the ammo I was hoping to buy. Nice store though I wish people would watch their kids instead of letting them chase each other around the whole store playing with the pop guns.

Hope to get over to check it out soon, but think I will let the crowd thin out first. The good thing is my wife likes the world market next door.

My wife noticed that, too. Thankfully she had enough will power to stay out or we would still be in Wichita.

We went to the store this past weekend. Looks about like Gander Mt. Found some good deals on ammo, but not anything else I couldn't walk away from. Will have to keep it in mind when we go to Wichita. Anybody else been able to check the new store out?

Yes, We were in there a couple weeks ago, picked up a few things. Wasnt much for sales going on. They must be trying to pay for that new exit as fast as they can. They did have good sandwiches for the money in the deli tho. I can get ammo way cheaper than they had it at my local shop or off the internet. I sure didnt need any more guns....

Cabela's will have some good sale prices from time to time. I often will internet shop and free ship to the store. In general, the MI store is jammed on the weekend, prices are excessively high, but still a fun outing!

I have been stocking with ammo since 2005, when I felt this coming on, internet ordering a case every other month or so. I dont need to purchase ammo ever again, probably.

I did get some shirts, and a larger vacuum sealer, just because they had it.
