I'm not from your area but the country wide average seems to be 6-8 weeks lately.

Yeah I live in southern Indiana, the sheriffs departments told me 4-6 weeks, but 4 months later it turned up Int the mail. Other people's in my area have been taking about 3-4 months.

I'm in Northwest Indiana and we did ours a couple of years ago. It only took about 3-4 weeks, but you have to remember that everybody is trying to get one now!!! So you will be waiting a few months now because of the over flow.

I live in Texas and it took me a couple of weeks after I sent in my packet to get mine.

I haven't applied lately (got my lifetime a few years ago), but from what I've heard on some of the forums it is running about 4 months from the time you apply.

Just applied for mine and was told by my local law enforcement that they are just now processing December. She told me to plan on getting it around Christmas. Merry christmas to me I guess.
