I am one of the few red specks in a very blue state.

Rauner won, Truax did well for his first try. Cross won too.
I think Jim O. learned a lesson today, or at least he should
have; my concern is I do not think JO can beat Dirt-bin.

I do think Rauner will beat Quinn.

You are right in part. But I would hope that the good ones keep running for
higher office. State House to State Senate to US Congress or Governor then
maybe US President. Those who do not make the cut move back to the
private sector. Also they should not get pension for public service. Social
Security credit but that is it.

Well we got the good news we were hoping for. Thanks to all those that voted. I wish Truax would have won, but Oberweiss has a bigger checkbook and may have a better chance taking on Durbin. We really need him gone. He's as dangerous as Chuckie Shummer and Harry Reid. Two other dinosaurs that need to retire.
