doesn't sound like it'll hold a lot of water legally, which isn't uncommon for plenty of laws and actions enacted by the city of chicago

the law will likely go unenforced or get overturned.

And LEOs think the new mayor of Boston is out of his damn mind for refusing BPD patrol officers AR-15s.
