Default buffalo range has been closed since 3-15-12

due to an injunction filed and granted to the IL DNR.....

this is the best outdoor place to go within an hour of the city limits...

i was really looking forward to getting back out there again this spring...

I have been trying to keep track of it. But they are not giving any info on it as to when it will reopen. I loved going there and I would love to go back. It is a scam there can't be that many bullets flying over the huge dirt mountains they made for this range.

Chucks correct. I was there last Monday. Open Fri. Sat. Sun. Mon. Much changed from the old wild west days. An RO at each range. All ranges shut down simultaneously at regular intervals for target change etc. They have done a nice job.

Last I was there (Last year about this time) they had an RSO at each range and operated the same way, coordinated breaks, etc. The last two times I visited the Pistol Range RSO's (2 different ones)left alot to be desired in attitude.

@ chuck s. ya I had a similar issue if the people were better mannered the experience would have been way better but the range itself is no other.
