Default Visiting Idaho. Looks like I can CCW with a WA state CWP

Although not specifically stating reciprocity with Washington state (1) , it appears that 18-3302(12)(g) covers it.

Does anyone have some first hand information?

Yes. However, while in Idaho, you must carry the permit on your person at all times when you are carrying a concealed weapon. (Idaho Code Section 18-3302(12)(g))

I know this is an old post but I was hoping I could just ask a quick question for those you cc in Idaho. I'll be visiting from WA in a few weeks. I have my wa, or and Utah cpl so I know I'm covered their. I have read up on the laws just to make sure I am familiar. I have read the laws on several sites and to me it sounds like even if you have a cpl you can not have your loaded weapon concealed while in a vehicle. Is this correct or is this section apply to those without a license to carry concealed. I understandthat any answer given is not legal advice. I am just hoping that someone who carries in Idaho regularly can tell me their understanding of that section of the law.
