Not really. I barely think it is worth the 8 bucks to get in.

Sent from a Droid...but not the Droid you are looking for. Move along.

Anyone know of any range in south FL that allows rapid fire and reload drills? I shoot at trail glades if you fire more than one round per 5 seconds and you'll have a range officer over a loud speaker embarrass you.

you can try Pops...of 27 and Griffen, I have been there once...Its not a range per say but more like a back yard. There is a membership fee...but I have heard stories that the lady who runs the place is kind of well...BAT **** CRAZY. But I think you can shoot pretty much what ever you want.

To those in South Florida, there is a new outdoor range under construction in Homestead, LongShotRange.com. From what I've heard the plan is to allow shooters to draw from holsters and won't be restricted to one shot per second. Max yardage on range will be 500 yards when completed.

Revere Gun Range
(954) 942-3777
601 Ne 28th St, #1, Pompano Beach, FL 33064

Not much to look at but functional. Great people running this range where your common sense actions provide you the freedom to do rapid fire drills and holster draws.

Just like that dive of a bar that serves those greasy cheeseburgers that taste so good, Revere serves up some tasty shooting fun.

Frank, send me a PM and we can go to Revere and wad-up some paper sometime.

Get her dirty, then clean her so she starts to respect you. When her trust is complete, she will serve you well for a lifetime!

Not unless you're really hard up for a gun show.

I live near Lakeland and usually shoot at Tenoroc or Saddlecreek. The latter only has a 50 yard range, but it's only $5 and great for pistols. Tenoroc has 100 yards, plus skeet, and archery areas. It's still not bad at $10. For Indoors I sometimes go to Tim's Guns in Auburndale. We just got a new Shoot Straight store with an indoor range, but I haven't shot there yet.

Here in Orlando Shoot Stright is a tad expensive. $13/hr, and they are pretty strict on what ammo you can use. No lead, no handloads. Hope yours is better.
