I just changed the firing pin on a Winchester Model 100, I also replaced the bolt assembly, gas tube and some other springs and pins. It seems to work great, but doesn't like the old Magazine. It does like the aftermarket 10 round magazine I purchased used off GunBroker. It's a Colyer Clip.

I hear ya, magazine issues are a PITA ! But things are a lot better today than 10-15 yrs ago. I have a Ruger Mini 14 that is picky, picky picky and a High Standard that is a downright DIVA.
