Stats show over 10,000 deer harvested in Conn. in 2013. Who knows how many rabbits, turkeys, etc. Why dont you guys just stop hunting for a few years. Starve them of all that revenue...let them see what the state will look like with no guns......It would be like Jurassic Park..over run with critters everywhere....LOL

So the next phase of gun control in Connecticut is coming up April 1 with a long gun sales certificate requirement for private transfers.

Interesting facts in the article point out the record firearms sales and high demand for firearms training over the past month in Connecticut. Similar to so many other liberal policies, the firearms restrictions seem to be influencing unintended results.

Reality is all in a definition! Websters used to be our Dictionary of choice, now we look to Governments to define things. Our government sucks at definitions! High Capacity is subjective like diversity, marriage, right or wrong and prone to factors that are not truly measurable in themselves.

High Capacity on its own means nothing that all people could agree to so idiots that dont understand the tool they are judging randomly assign a number greater than one and thats "High" to them. Is a single Shotgun shell a high capacity magazine of one? Afterall, it holds more than one projectile according to the size of the shot. A really good shot can kill like 10 people (Ive seen it in movies so I know its true). Same goes with a single 50 cal bullet, it can pass through as many as 6 bodies before it stops dead, if your a really patient shooter, you can line them right up and get a high capacity kill with a single squeeze of the trigger (more seen it on TV).

And just to let you know there is lots more of those High Capacity definitions coming in the future, Star Trek like Phasers will be all the rage in a few years! Just like guns, photon projectiles will need laws to change with the times. HCPSM's (High Capacity Power Storage Modules), auto burst fire and Phasers with Starfleet Features will be judged unsafe for regular people.

Its all about creating jobs for Republicrats throughout history. Think about it, what if they actually used the BOR's as our laws instead of troves of laws that could fill stadiums? Millions of jackasses would be out of a job overnight! There are trillions of dollars hanging on them creating so many laws that the courts, LEO's, Judges and Lawmakers can keep inflating their resume's every single year and convince us they are doing what we hired them to do. Hell, were even getting mad when they do less,its called "roadblocking" and must be prevented by any illegal means available, proclamation from King Barry has been working pretty well! Andy Coumo just told us "extreme conservatives who are right-to life, pro-assault-weapon, anti-gay....have no place in the state of New York, because that's not who New Yorkers are". He just redefined what a New Yorker and an extreme conservative is in one sentence!

Interestingly in the news there's been recent high murder rates by criminals using knives. The terrorists in China killed several dozen people using knives and, they have been used more frequently in recent local murders. When are we going to see a call for registration of our kitchen cookware?
