You picked a REALLY bad pic of Mr. Torn. I worked on a movie with him several years ago and found him to be a real gentleman. His 85+ year old mother was in a nursing home not far from here. He had her brought to the set and he doted over her all day. I think you can tell a lot about a man by the way he treats his mother.
After seeing his treatment of his mother, I will always respect Mr. Rip Torn.
