Nah, you did the right thing. We can't have that kind of language in the open forum.

It happens...it's a bit difficult to sense sarcasm or tone in a thread post

...What, that was a random statement..

I have shooting gloves that are made from neoprene and have "grippies" on every finger except thumb and index, and I have several pairs of bdu's (i have legitimate reasons for them beyond just thinking they are extra comfy and damn good clothing), I have a pair of jungle boots, I have a vietnam era bandolier.... Does this mean I am a mall ninja? :'(

As to the first picture posted with the fat kid that says something to the effect of "they make bdu's for really fat people?"... yes they do, swat teams have to wear something dont they?

CA I am not upset that you edited it. That is no big deal.

I have a problem with someone just assuming that I am speaking directly to them.

While in basic training our DI said many a things. Some of which if taken personal would be well bad. But, taken as addressing the whole of the platoon they were just an efficient way of screaming at up and getting us moving and motivated.

If you take a comment like that to heart that must mean one thing.

I just take offence to a person coming on here and calling everyone here a mall ninja because we dress a specific way. Just because I wear tactical pants or old BDU pants to the range doesn't make someone a "Gun Guy".

A Gun Guy is a guy who loves guns and has a wealth of knowledge of firearms and is willing to share on here and in person his knowledge of firearms. A Gun Guy is someone who is polite to everyone. A Gun Guy is one who holds doors for ladies. A Gun Guy is someone who has an intimate knowledge of his or hers firearms. A Gun Guy is someone who will go and offer to help a new shooter at the range with shooting problems or mechanical problems.

A Mall Ninja, is someone who has a tactical vest with ballistic plates duct taped to the front and back. They take a different route to work (Major Retail outlet IE MALL) where they serve and protect American from shoplifting. A Mall Ninja is some one who has only a glock and an AR-15 these are the only guns they have ever owned and the only two guns they will ever own. They are the best because someone else says they are the best. Their AR is the best because it meets the requirements set forth by the all mighty list.

So maybe you as the OP should choose your words more careful next time to avoid all the egg on your face.

I am more than sure many of the Supporting members and other members of this board will agree with my statements above.

Please have a blessed day.

As a newbie, I hope to be a "Gun Guy" one day!

In the past Tango would have called out the OP, thrown down a Ponch picture, called him a bunch of names that would become a new lexicon within FTF (See "Effin" in common language).

In this case Tango was responding to the thread and said "your a douche", while I am sure he meant "you're a douche" but there were 28 other posts before his, including several by me.

And it is not unusual for Tango to call me a douche as evidenced by one of my first threads ever here about Remington Rifles, which suck by the way.
