Mr. Sig is patient, but I don't like to be interrupted after I get started. Fortunately Kisa Key (Japanese for miracle) decided he wanted his feeding before I really got started, all I had done by that point was disassembly.
Well, I would have done the same thing I guess. I have saved 7 4 week old kittens and bottle fed them and we kept them all. They were from a feral cat colony we have around here, since then all of the colony has been fixed (YES!) but only one of that litter is still alive. Most died mysteriously and suddenly, a couple had seizures and died (weak genes from inbreeding most likely). The last one seems to be very healthy though. He is 3 or 4 years old now.

But it is still a fail!

Lol. I try to teach the cats early that firearms are a good thing. Our Calico likes to sit on my lap while I am cleaning.

Much respect. Hopefully, some will throw above mentioned adam henry out of a moving car. People like that make me sick.

We have a 2 year old russian blue that lives downstairs in my uncle's apartment. Same basic story. I was outside helping fix a friend's truck when it started to rain. Got her ranger going, and as she was leaving, I saw something hiding under my truck. It turned out to be a 6 week old kitten, that was about half frozen. Put him in my jacket, and took him inside. The cat decided he didn't want to leave, so after a couple days, I took him down to my uncle (Step-daughter is very allergic to cats). He is now part of the household downstairs. Anyone who would do something like that deserves a fate worse than death IMHO..

Only for the first semester. Second one I moved into an apartment with 2 friends, and my guns moved with me. Ticked my dad off a little, he had to drive 45 minutes to borrow my Maverick during deer season. While I was away during semester 1, he just took it out of my safe and left his 5500 in it;s place. He hated still hunting with that thing.

You are a gun nut when...
You have more pic on your phone of hunting and guns that your family.
You have more than one screen of apps on your smart phone that are related to hunting, reloading, guns.
Your wife does not ask what you are looking at on the computer late at night because she know it has to do with hunting, guns, reloading and NOT porn.
The family knows that when I am reloading, I am not to be disturbed.
When the wife is upset from work, she goes to the range.
You reload for friends and family members and shoot better with their rifles than they do. Even though you help them sight in the optic for them and not for yourself.
For an anniversary gifts you give your wife a cooper rifle and she is happy with the gift.

Am I a redneck....

Can't answer the last question, don't know you personally.

This Christmas, my wife bought me a S&W Govenor, and i bought her an Armadeo Rossi Overland 20 gauge. Her birthday present from her daughter and me was a set of dies for the RCBS press in 20 gauge, and all the components needed to roll her own. She already picked up mine, although my birthday is not for another couple months, 880 rounds of 7.62X54R and a spam can opener. Funny thing is, I didn't marry a gun nut, but she has turned into one over the last 6 years.

When we met, she was neutral about guns and hunting, didn't care either way. Took her to the range with me one day, and started her out with one of my old .22s. By the end of the day, she was over talking to the CHL class instructor, and signing up for his next class. The next week, she went to a hunter safety class, and about 4 months later, she had us both in the bowhunter safety class. With 1 range trip, I created a monster. And it's not just her. The daughter is just as bad as she is.

I am not just a gun nut, I am the patriarch of a family of them!

One other thing, if you have names for your pistols & rifels and refer to them in your talk as if they were real people
