You know you are a gun nut, if you have been eyeballing the gold tooth in your mama's dentures to help finance your next buy.

Watch out! The ladies on line here may think you're suggesting that they're sagging. Some of them shoot pretty good!

I think I must be a gun nut. Yesterday I had a great idea. Design a computer mouse that you can adjust to have a 3 lb trigger, a 5 lb trigger, ...

The scary part is actually thinking of a way to do that!

Guilty as charged.

You know you're a gun nut if...

When the local PD feels out gunned, they stop at your house to upgrade.

You laugh at all of the panic buyers as they scoop up all the ammo they can, and think to yourself: "If they had only listened to me 20 years ago, and bought a few boxes a week, every week, then the shelves would still be full, and prices would be reasonable again. Idiots!"

You and your spouse are looking for a 4+ bedroom house, so you can have an ammo room and a gun room.

Your wife asks you to build a new walk in closet because you have filled the old one with safes, reloading supplies, ammo, and other gun related accessories.

All your friends call your room a bunker, and you call it a survivalist heaven. That's more of "you might be a prepper if...", but close enough.
