When your mom asks how many guns you have and you have to answer; Ummmmm. I'm not sure." To which she says "More than 10? (yes) 20? (yes) 30 (yes)"

And then at some point you finally say "Mom, lets just say I have more than I could possibly ever need, but not nearly as many as I want and leave it at that."

And she replies with;"Yes. That would probably be best. I was getting worried there thinking you are a gun nut or something."

True conversation. Happened yesterday.

Sat in my boss' office, with my co-workers 1911 showing him how
strip it and clean it. And my boss sitting there, saying "This is cool."
My boss is English...

Yes, it really did happen, in Chit-cago even... LOL

most everyone at work is a gun enthuiast of some sort. some carry for SD, some hunt and some of us enjoy target shooting. several of us reload. we're all very 2nd amendment oriented and take SD very seriously. gun topics come up on a daily basis and sometimes several times a day.

You overhear a conversation between two employees at a big box store about a guy who ordered a .270 Winchester to use for coyotes where one of them asks the other, "Isn't that overkill?" and you join the conversation with this: " actually no. That's what I have used for years."

Happened 2 years ago at the Dick's Sporting Goods in Hamburg NY. All I got from behind the counter was stunned silence. If you really want to mess with them, tell them that you use a .30-06 with 55 gr Accelerators. The 'yotes in my area have gotten smarter over the last 5 years.

Si vis pacem parabellum.

To those who wish to take away our Second Amendment rights. What will you do when we, all 100,000,000 of us, stand as one, and say no?
