You have ever tailgated in the parking lot of a gunshow just to make sur you will get in first when it opens.

You can rattle of the year that an Ithaca model 37, or a Winchester 1894 was built by it's serial #, and you don't have to look it up.

Your DVR is full of programing from the Outdoor chanel, Versus, and atleast 2 seasons worth of Top Shot.

You own more guns than your whole family has fingers and toes.

You have ever had a person pull a gun on you, and your response was: " Are you kidding me? Your going to shoot me with a .22?" or "That's real nice, this here's what I carry."

You have a balistics chart attatched to the side of your hunting rifle for the most comon ammo you use.

You actually know how spin drift affects your bullets past 500 yards, and what wind speed and direction are needed to cancel it out.

When you see three of the same guns and ones half off. Because it looks like its been to hell and back. And you buy it because you know all it needs is a good cleaning.

That's the best way to buy one. It saves you the trouble of braking it in, and you don't agonize over the first scratch! If you are really lucky, you know the old owner, and already know what kind of ammo it likes best.

I have done this. "Are you happy to see me?", "that's a .45"
