I was meaning to be humorous. No offense intended.

When ammo becomes readily available again I expect to see a pic of that box filled up! (but don't spend too much on overpriced ammo now).

I have several hundred rounds of 7.62x39 and I don't own anything to shoot it out of! Rather than sell it though I am hoping to buy a gun.

Unfortunately, yes. I know that's like sacrilege to some here, but there are those that are just barely coming in over minimum wage and working 3 weeks worth of hours in two weeks, just to get that overtime and pay the bills, and personally, as a single parent.

But, some bills getting paid down, some getting paid off, and child support about to come in... At least I'll be able to breath easier soon. Maybe even buy some more ammo.

Haven't even told you guys I've sold my long guns (I kept the 1911), just so I could keep my head above water

My 1917 Eddystone, 91/30, Rossi .223 single shot, and savage .22

God I loved that Eddystone. MOA all day with the cheapest ammo off the shelf. Timney trigger and some kinda aftermarket barrel.

That would be me. I inherited a bunch of ammo and reloading equipment, much of which is in calibers I don't currently have. Unfortunately the dearly departed's crackhead son stole the entire gun collection and sold it for drug money (didn't even give his mother a dime for any of it). Unfortunately I was not involved until long, long after it all went down so it was water under the bridge at that point. The widow gave me all of the stuff that was left (two truckloads in my little Nissan pickup) and I gave her a few hundred in return, which she turned down but I insisted and won out over her protests.

So now I have to acquire probably a dozen calibers I don't already have ranging from .215 Bee up to .460 Weatherby Magnum. I've got my work cut out.
