If you ever get mad when some one calls your magazine a clip.

If you think a box of Black Talons is a piece of history.

Default You know you're a gun nut if....

You see a story about a raid on a drug dealer's stash house in which the news anchor says that a large cache of weapons and ammo was conficated by the police, and when you see the cache of weapons on the screen, you think to your self: "He!!, I've got more than that in the hall closet!"

You have ever had to decide at the begining of the month wether to pay your mortgage or buy more ammo.

You find empty brass every time you pull out your winter or summer clothes.

You have signs on the borders of your property that read: "If you can read this, you are in range," which you have "customized" with 5 shot groups and the range you shot it from.

There was ever a fire in your home, you would tell the firemen responding to RUN! After running back in to grab as many of your guns as you and your family members can.

The insured value of your guns is more than the insured value of your house and cars combined.

You have ever cleaned your house, and found a gun you forgot you have.

Going by what else has been on the list so far....

Yep, I am a gun nut!

You might be a gun nut if you have ever bought a new rifle because you picked up a set of reloading dies at a yard sale for a caliber you don't own.

You go to the local outdoor range after hours to scour the lanes for brass you can reload.

You always check the brass bucket at the indoor range for the same reason.

You find boxes of ammo to guns you have never owned, or have traded of or sold while cleaning out your car's trunk.

When you watch the news reports from war zones, and see all the brass just laying on the ground, you wish you could go over and gather it up to reload it.

You go to the local WalMart to get cheap shot shells for trap, and decide to check the rifle and pistol ammo. While there, you ask if they have 7.62X54R or 7X57 MM, and the clerk tells you that hey don't sell military calibers, you correct him.

You respond to someone asking wether they should buy gun A or gun B with, " Why not buy them both?"

You get Christmas and birthday cards from your LGS and at least 5 firearm manufacturers.

The owner of your LGS calls you to tell you to come down and check out the new guns he just got in.

You can name every cartridge that can be fired from a Medusa, and you don't have to look it up in the manual or ask Trez.

You might be a gun nut if your tackle box contains more gun parts and springs than fishing tackle.

I turned an extra tackle box into my gun cleaning box! It holds everything nice and neat!
