Nah, he's got one of those metal, swiveling targets set up as a switch. Bang, it moves from right to left and the lights go out. In the morning, on with the NVGs and Bang, left to right and the lights come on...

You might be a gun nut if you keep your shotgun shells months after you have shot them just so you can smell them. (I do that every time I shoot my shotgun)
